Hag in the Attic
Mindset occupant that resides in all of us! Is she controlling you?
If you know me, you will know that I call that voice in my head, that negative mindset, The Hag in the Attic. I spoke about her during my last Facebook live.
I talked about how to manage her (yes manage, not control), and how she looks for opportunities to come barreling down those attic stairs to take over our lives. This is an ongoing situation because we give her opportunities 24/7.
Great news: there is a place for her on your team, and she has a job description too. She needs to know that WE ARE THE DRIVER of our bus, not her!

It is so powerful when one learns about the voices that don’t serve us. These voices that hijack our way of being (behaviors and attitudes) that don’t belong to us. It’s great that not only are you aware of her Kim but you can accept she’s part of you and work with her. You come across really well in the video too with a calming energy.
I love this term you have created for the mindset. You are a natural in front of the camera. You have the perfect voice for doing the podcast/YouTube videos. Loved listening to this and it’s a reminder I always need!
